We collect information that is necessary to provide our marketplace services. This includes:

  • Account Data: Name, email address, password, and contact details.
  • Profile Data: Social media handles, follower counts, engagement stats, biography, and profile images.
  • Identity Verification: Date of birth and gender (used for platform safety and brand targeting).
  • Transaction Data: Payment details (processed securely via Stripe), payout history, and booking details.
  • Communication: Messages sent through our internal chat system.

3. Use of Information

We use your information to:

  • Facilitate the connection and contracting between Brands and Influencers.
  • Verify social media ownership and pull live performance statistics.
  • Process payments and manage the secure escrow system.
  • Improve platform features and user experience.
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations in Australia and New Zealand.

4. Disclosure of Information

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Marketplace Visibility: Influencer profile data (stats, bio, portfolio) is visible to Brands using the platform.
  • Contract Fulfillment: When a booking is confirmed, necessary details are shared between the Brand and Influencer to complete the work.
  • Service Providers: We use trusted third-party providers to help run our site (e.g., Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting, and Amazon Web Services for data storage). We ensure that all third-party service providers are contractually obligated to provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this policy.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, we may disclose information to Australian or New Zealand authorities.

5. Data Storage & Overseas Transfer

Your data is primarily stored on secure cloud servers. Some of our service providers may be located outside of Australia and New Zealand (such as the United States). By using the platform, you consent to this international transfer of data, provided the recipient protects your information to a standard comparable to AU/NZ laws.

6. Your Rights & Data Deletion

Under AU and NZ privacy laws, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and request corrections if it is inaccurate.

Account Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account at any time through the 'Settings' section of the app. Upon deletion, your personal identity information will be removed from our active production databases within 30 days. Some transaction records and communication logs may be retained for legal, tax, or auditing purposes as required by New Zealand and Australian law.
